My name is George Senator Siebo. I am a Liberian and was born on December 25th, 1989 during the Liberian civil war, unto the union of Mr. Amos Sieh Siebo, Sr. and Mrs. Mary K. Siebo, in Kingsville Township, Careyburg Statutory District, Montserrado County, Liberia. I started my primary and elementary education at the George Toe Washington Christian Institute in 72nd, SKD Boulevard, Paynesville, Liberia in 1995. Upon successfully completing my elementary education, I enrolled at the Kalita High School to begin my junior and senior high school education. I graduated from high school in 2006.
Being anxious to serve my country and people, while fostering my educational ambition, I was vetted and recruited to Join the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) as officer cadet in 2006. I started my Naval officer cadet training at the prestigious Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), located in Kaduna, Nigeria. I completed both my military training and academic course work successfully and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Geography, while earning my presidential commissioning to the rank of Sub Lieutenant into the Armed Forces of Liberia on September 14, 2013.
While serving as a commissioned officer in the Armed Forces of Liberia, I occupied several positions; amongst which included: Training, planning and Liaison officer for the Liberian Coast Guard (LCG), Commander, Freeport Station, Officer in Charge (OIC) LCG Engineering Department, etc. During my years of active service, I was opportune to attend several military and law enforcement institutions around the world. I am a graduate of the Nigerian Naval College (NNC), located in Onne, Port Harcourt, Nigeria. In 2015, I completed my Maritime Law Enforcement course (Boarding Officer Course) from the Federal Law enforcement Training Center (FLETC), located in Charleston, South Carolina, USA.
Being in the business of pursuing further education, couple with my brilliance academic performance over the years, in 2015, I was granted a fully funded tuition and accommodation scholarship by the “Orient Funds” located in Denmark, through the World Maritime University (WMU) located in Malmo, Sweden. I graduated with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree in Maritime Affairs, specializing in Maritime Law and Policy. I also earned an advanced diploma in Marine Liter from the National Open University of the Netherlands. I am a United States License Master Marine Surveyor (MMS). I have also earned several leadership certificates for the United States Coast Guard and other military and para military institutions around the world.
In 2017, I retired from the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) and relocated to the United States, where I am currently residing and working with Individual (kids/adults) with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDDs) population as a program manager. As a veteran and campaigner for better living conditions, education, healthcare for less privileged women and children in Africa in general, and Liberia in particular, I am dedicated to raising the needed funds and other resources from around the world to help provide financial and material support for the less fortunate women and children in Liberia, in the area of health, agriculture, education, water and sanitation.
I am happily married to Mrs. Evelyn Boe Siebo and we are blessed with a beautiful daughter.
We provide humanitarian aid in the areas of Education, Health, Agriculture, water, Sanitation, and hygiene.
