Mr. Amos S. Siebo, Jr. holds a Specialized Master of Business Administration Degree with over 20 years of relevant professional experience in the field of National Development Plus short-term experiences working in the United States of America, China, Holland, Norway, Switzerland, Senegal, Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Kenya for the Government of Liberia on a wide range of national development project activities, including in the Road, Energy, Port, WASH (Water & Sanitation and Hygiene), Health, Housing, Education, and international development Banking sectors. His cross-cutting technical expertise also includes the provision of integrated governance advisory services to the office of the President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. He is happily married to Mrs. Margaret K. Siebo and the Union is blessed with 6 children.
Other services provided over the years include, but are not limited to, the provision of strategic planning, monitoring, evaluation, and learning services to national and international actors in variety of sectors of National Development.
Most recently, he has been providing grant and Resource Management consultancy services to a number of Actors in the Private and NGO Sectors of Liberia, including facilitating the development of a 3-year strategic plan for the National Housing Authority of Liberia and a 5-year Strategic plan for Refuge Place International, A reputable NGO operating under the association Laws of the Republic of Liberia. He also work as the CEO and General Manager of East Group Incorporated, A 100% Liberian owned and operated construction and professional services delivery firm here in Liberia.
Mr. Amos S. Siebo, Jr. was born and raised in the Township of Kingsville in Electoral District #1 of Montserrado County of the Republic of Liberia in 1975. He acquired his primary, elementary, and Junior High Education from the Kingsville Public School located in the above mentioned address. He later attended the School of Prime Systems (1992-1993), Paynesville Community High School (1993-1994), and Wells-Hairston High School, Gadnersville Branch (1995-1996), to acquire the rest of his High School education. He later attended the African Methodist Episcopal University (1998-2001) from whence he acquired his Undergraduate Education, obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Management. He then attended the Cuttington University Graduate School of Business (2009-2011) from whence He acquired a Master of Business Administration Degree in Management. He has acquired other professional papers from various institutions, both at home and abroad, including a Certificate in Bailey Bridge Assembly and Maintenance (2008) from Peak International, A Chinese construction firm; a certificate in Port Management (2009) from the Ningbo Polytechnic in Ningbo, China.
Work and Professional Life
A. Private Sector
From May 2022 to present, He has been working as a Consultant for Resource and Grant Management (Part Time) at the KDMK Success Thinkers House Incorporated, a Liberian Owned Law and Business Development Consultancy firm. Currently, He is working as the General Manager and CEO of East Group Incorporated, a Liberian Owned and operated Construction and General Development consultancy firm. He served in the Capacity of National Coordinator for the National Education Coalition of Liberia where he acquired and implemented an Education Reform facilitation Grant worth USD 200, 000.00. He has also been working as an Adjunct Faculty at the African Methodist Episcopal University where he lectures in two Departments, Management and Mass Communication.
He also worked as External Consultant with the Liberia National Bar Association on its justice First Project in September of 2019, where He delivered a research work on the issues of bottlenecks to the adjudication of Sexual and Gender Based Violence cases in Liberia. From October 5-26, 2009, Mr. Siebo Served as Consultant [Crises Action Plan (CAP) and Security Recommendations Facilitator] with the World Bank (WB) Liberia Country office. Mr. Siebo, Jr also served as Training and Development Coordinator at Lonestar Communications Corporation from June 1 to September 1, 2009. Mr. Siebo, Jr. served as Vice Principal for Administration, George Toe Washington Christian School system form 1998 – 2003.
B. Public Sector
In the public Sector, Mr. Siebo served in a number of key positions including the following: consultant (Deputy Head of Unit- 2015 to 2017) with the President’s Delivery Unit (PDU), a small team of professionals dedicated towards the facilitation and execution of presidential priority projects with a combined value of more than 2 billion United States Dollars before which he served as consultant in the capacity of Senior Program Officer (2014 to 2015) with the PDU. He worked as External Consultant for Reform Rollout (February to July of 2013) at the Dedicated Funds Committee (DFC)for the administering of County Social Development Funds obtained from mineral development agreements between the Government of Liberia and a number of mining companies in the Republic of Liberia. He served as Consultant (Program Officer) with the PDU – 2009 to – 2014), Mr. Siebo, Jr. served with the Port Sector Reform Program Secretariat (PSRPS) as Project officer in 2009. Mr. Siebo, Jr. Served as Assistant Minister for Construction at the Ministry of Rural Development of the Republic of Liberia in 2004. Finally, Mr. Siebo, Jr. served as Presiding Officer with the Independent Elections Commission of Liberia (IECOM) in July of 1997.
