Christopher Kear is a Liberian, born unto the union of Mr. David Dior David and Mrs. Sarah Ferguson Kear on September 12th, 1982, in Tuobo, Maryland County, Republic of Liberia. His father was a government school teacher, and his mother was a farmer and a local businesswoman. Chris started his primary and elementary education at Maryland Logging Company School System (MLCSS) in River Gbeh, River Gee County, Republic of Liberia from 1987 to 1990. He later migrated to Buchanan, Grand Bassa County, and matriculated into the Bassa High School from 1990 to 1992. Chris later moved to Monrovia in 1992 and enrolled into the Monrovia College and Industrial Training School from 1992 to 1994, where he graduated from high school.
After successfully acquiring high school education, Chris sought employment at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a Catographer in the passport department. He worked with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1995 to 1997. Chris left Liberia in August of 1997 for Buduburam Refugee Camp in Ghana, where he enrolled into the Liberian resettlement program. He immigrated to the United States as a refugee on October 22nd, 1999.
In an attempt to foster his educational journey, Chris enrolled in Bucks County Community College to study computer science. Due to some family engagement, he could not achieve his goal as a computer scientist. Nevertheless, the challenges of life could not stop him from achieving his goals. In 2010, Chris decided to choose another career path. He matriculated into the Philadelphia Community College to study nursing. He completed his study successfully and graduated with an associate of science degree in nursing.
As a nurse in the United States, Chris started a successful for-profit home health agency in Philadelphia called “Amazing Care Home Health Services, LLC”. His agency is currently ranked among the top 10 home healthcare agencies in the Philadelphia area and its environs. He also owns a medical transportation company called Dependable Medical Transportation Agency, LLC. Due to his passion for providing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Chris founded a group home called “community Havens Group Home, Inc., in the North Philadelphia area.
As a businessman, Chris is also involved in real estate investment. He is currently the owner/CEO of “CMoney Real Estate Company, LLC”, also located in the Philadelphia area. Chris is a real estate investor and developer. Chris companies currently have over 200 employees and contractors.
As a former refugee, and understanding the hardship and suffering that women and children are faced with on a daily basis, especially in Liberia, West Africa, Chris was moved to establish the “Kear Foundation” and the “Kear Communication Network” (KCN) in Liberia. Kear Foundation is an international humanitarian organization that strives to provide humanitarian support to under-privileged Liberians in the areas of education, health, agriculture, water, and sanitation, amongst others. The purpose of Kear Communication Network is to propagate the message and purpose of Kear Foundation across the landscape of Liberia.
Chris currently lives in New Jersey, USA, and is a father to five wonderful children. He is known for his integrity and goal-oriented nature.
